No way to cancel/stop publish if the process is "stuck"

Sometimes slow internet connection, CPU or even bug - and you get this loop (loop 4ever -or- take very long time):

No way to stop/cancel this (Beside F5 - Refresh the page).
Some “X” button could be very helpful her.

For example on invision craft plugin (Same issue - sometimes the software “loops” 4ever - UI option to click on X and sync again):
