Padding on different browsers

#1

Hi all,

I am having some issues with padding on my site ww.aileenng.com.au created in Webflow. I have viewed my site on a different browser (internet explorer) and padding is removed from one of my div elements and looks like this:

When it should look like this:

The issue is, I’m not really sure how to fix the problem as when I log in with webflow the padding appears again. Does anyone have any solutions?

Cheers,

Aileen

Hi @aileendesign, thanks for your reply. If you are testing in IE11, remember that IE11 is not compatible with a lot of advanced features in CSS like Flexbox, CSS grid etc, so sites may not render the same way as other modern browsers.

Are you trying to test in Edge or in IE 11? Edge should work as that has support for latest css specs.

Okay great, so I should run webflow in edge and add the padding that way?

Thanks for your response!

Hi @aileendesign, when you are using Webflow in the designer, you should use Chrome or Safari, I was referring to when the site visitor views the site, they should use Microsoft Edge and not IE 11 as IE 11 does not have full support for advanced css.

I hope this helps
