Page looks really different hosted on my own server

Hi everyone,

I’d thought I’d make my first post seen as Webflow support doesn’t actually open for another 45 mins and it’s almost the end of the work day in England.

My issue is that I’ve published a site using Webflow and it’s all how I want it to be, however when I exported the code and uploaded it to my server, the page doesn’t look like it’s supposed to.

Here is the published page looking how it should: http://broomhall.webflow.io/#Gallery

Here is a screenshot of how it looks on my server:

I haven’t made it live yet as I’m still waiting on the DNS to get changed over.

Does anyone have any ideas? Or could this be a bug?

Cheers,

Sam

I see that you gave the light boxes a 20% width, some times the browsers don’t get that correctly, you can try two things:

  1. Give a 19% width to the light boxes and see if that helps the issue or,
  2. Use flexbox to stack the photos on those 5 columns.

One other thing that can affect that behaviour is the 66 vw that you’re using for the light boxes wrapper, you can change that and use padding instead and center elements inside.

Let me know of that helps.

Cheers,
