Possible to style color and background of css3 multicolumn layout?

Is its possible to have this “text to wrap into different columns” with different background colors and different heights of columns?

Hi,

this is an example i have made. the two columns on the top are internal webflow columns. the second two columns are divs and a little bit tricky floating stuff. it works on desktops screens, but i have problems on the phone screens.

how can i solve the second example with classic columns? can i use the multi column feature in webflow to solve this?

Unfortunately CSS3 doesn’t support styling color and background of text multi columns. Text multi columns usually have the same background/color for all the columns so that the reading experience is consistent across the entire block of text.
