Problems With How Internet Explorer Renders Floats

Ok, so i have been having some problems with how the navbar appears on internet explorer and edge. As you can see in the image below, it is moving extra content down and also adding extra space between the social icons.

Every object on the left is float left, and every object in the right is float right. I suspect there is some problem with this method. Thanks for any help in advance.

Can you please post the read-only link?

I've found that this issue occurs when you don't have a set height on the parent container for IE.

Hey @jwes you need to give your social bar a width, & height, and all of it's parent containers need a height (in pixels). That should fix the issue in IE. :smile:
