Resizing navbar for content revealed on hover

Hello,

I’ve added a sub section to two of the navbar items. Under ‘Extra Curricular’
But I can’t figure out a way to make the subheadings appear within the navbar wrap. Ideally i want the heading ‘sports’ to be pushed down. See pic for example.

Hopefully someone can help me out.

Hey Sheila

Give the dropdown list inside of the Extra Curricular Activities dropdown an unique class and change position from absolute to relative.

Keep in mind that having the list open and close on hover could be a problem. Because the list is now relative, it is now also added into the wrapper’s height calculation. This means when you hover off the list, the wrapper will shrink and your mouse will suddenly not hover over the element, effectively closing it all. Instead of hover you could use click if that works for you.

Hi David!

Thanks so much for your help. That done the trick :relaxed:
