[Resolved] Fixed position container issue

Hello Webflow’ers,

I’m having a lot of trouble trying to do something seemingly simple - fixing a container in the middle of the screen. The element in question is titled “Post Notification Container”.

It’s currently set to ‘Fixed’ but it scrolls right on by as you scroll through the body of the website. I’ve managed to get the desired effect while testing in a new document, but I don’t want to abandon my current document and recreate everything I’ve already built…

I would REALLY appreciate your help! To the person who figures this out - you are a lifesaver.

I’ve figured it out in case anyone was experiencing a similar issue.

You cannot have a “Children perspective” on your body if you want a fixed element. I turned off the 1000px perspective I had on the body and all my fixed elements started to work as they should have.

I hope this helps someone out!
