I apologize if there is already a solution to this, I haven’t found anything myself.
Is there possibly any way for subtabs to show up after the parent tab is selected/clicked?

Sure, there’s a number of ways to do this. You can use a dropdown element, an accordion div setup. I have an example of my collection. View the structure and the interactions set up. There’s IX1 & IX2 usage:

You can use this type of structure and stack them vertically in a sidebar.
