I am attempting to make the font size resize according to window size or section size. If a user views the website on a desktop computer vs a smaller screen laptop, the text doesn’t resize.

You can try to use VH and VW as units, it works on fonts : Google Chrome – Tapes
VH and VW are %age of the viewport dimensions.
That’s exactly what I needed. I was using VH instead of VW for width.
