"Save for later" functionality for CMS (using MemberStack)

This client wants a “save for later” functionality for events, so users can essentially bookmark pages within the site and view what they’ve saved in a user-specific page (via MemberStack). I’ve done a lot of research and can’t seem to find any information on how to code something like this… Does anyone have any experience? I was thinking maybe I could have a plus/minus button on each element that would add a class or something when clicked, then I could filter by that class on the results page… But not sure if that would work since it would have to be a persistent save (even when user leaves current page etc).

Thanks!!

@asksj

Hi. Worth asking Memberstack / @DuncanHamra about this also - I think at one time they were working on offering something like this.

I remember a ‘Member Bucket’ for saving items mentioned on their Slack channel in the past. https://memberstackcommunity.slack.com/

Update for those who may happen upon this post as they are searching for a similar solution—MemberStack is working on this and @DuncanHamra was able to help me out with a solution in the meantime :slight_smile: very excited about the possibilities!
