Scroll Header not working

I am trying to get my Compact Menu to show on scroll, but it just won’t work (desktop, chrome). It works when I preview the interaction, but when I preview and/or publish the page, the scroll bar doesn’t show up on scroll. What am I doing wrong?

Thank you - I had used a tutorial, but it must have been an old one. This one was updated and did resolve my issue. My issue was that I wasn’t assigning the scroll interaction to the hero slider/an element on the page.
