Setting button to interact with a single collection item

#1

Hey Webflowers,

So I’ve been struggling away with this one and I’m sure it is something pretty straightforward that I haven’t been able to find in other posts yet.

I’m trying to make a ‘read more’ button on a team page reveal just a single collection item entry, instead of showing all four at the same time.

I thought I would just need to create a unique class name for each collection item and set the interaction on the given button to control that particular item, but I don’t seem to be able to create a separate class for each item (I’ve seen in other posts on the forum that this isn’t possible too).

Can anyone see the fix I’m missing?

Thanks in advance…!

Here’s what you need to do, I tested it and it worked on your site with the read only link. You need to add the button into your collection, right now it’s sitting outside of your collection. Once the button is inside your collection go into your interaction and click the little checkbox that says “limit to sibling elements”

Then it will work.

@ThreeProngs That’s the one, thank you!

I was trying with the button inside the collection before but didn’t have limit to sibling selected.
