Sitemap not working - when added domain names

Hi there,

I have just published my website on two domain names and the sitemap has stopped working. You can see it here: https://stmartinslaw.nz/sitemap.xml but it cannot be read on Google Webmasters or SEO Audit tools.

Please help! It was working fine on http://st-martins-law.webflow.io

This is the error showing in Google Webmasters:

Sitemap could not be read
General HTTP error
1 instance
We encountered an error while trying to access your Sitemap. Please ensure your Sitemap follows our guidelines and can be accessed at the location you provided and then resubmit.
ExamplesHTTP Error:301

Error in SEO Audit tool:
### This website cannot be crawled
Will not follow more than 10 redirects

These are the domain names that have been added.
https://stmartinslaw.nz/ (Default)
https://stmartinslaw.co.nz/
(http, non-www and www)

I am having the same issue. Did you fix this?

I’m also having this issue and emailed Webflow support with a video showing what’s happening. This screenshot shows what I see in Google Search Console:

Hi guys sorry late reply!

It was because I had my non www as a default - I had to revert to www.spotdigital.co.nz (webflow doesn’t like non www)

Thanks for following up! I eventually got this answer from Webflow support:

“The issue looks to be occurring as the root domain has been selected as the default, however your DNS is configured to load the website at the www subdomain. So Google would be having a redirect issue with crawling the root domain.”
