Hey Webflow Community, Im new to webflow and wanted to know can or how I can I upgrade the slider functionality. The slider is basic and i wanted to add a drop down menu that also slides the image with each click of the menu icon

You’d have to do some serious custom code or embed your own third party slider for this. Unfortunately you’d be on your own since it’s outside of the native Webflow capabilities.
