**Solved** Folder with Index File (save time editing the html)

#1

I really hope we get an option soon where we can create a folder, place a file in that folder and name it index. For example when I go to www.website.com/clothing - this would automatically go to the clothing index page. I find it frustrating and exhausting having to open up every page I have in folders, rename them index.html and then open that page and make sure all of the correct links are going to that page instead of namedpage.html.

@PixelGeek - I love the new billing feature BTW - super pumped to use it GREAT JOB GUYS - but can you give me insight on if a solution is coming for this soon?

OR can you write a .htaccess to ignore page names after the directory? for example is there a way to hide the www.website.com/clothing/**clothing.html** (hide clothing.html)

Thanks Advance guys! and as always keep up the awesome work!

Should I just use this htcaccess code? or does this have complications to SEO?

htcaccess file:

RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteRule ^([^.]+)$ $1.html [NC,L]

I want to start using Webflow for everything. How would I do this code in webflow to hide the .html extension?

** Solved ** I see that webflow automatically removes the extension when hosted through their hosting.

Love it!
