Sticky element inside absolute positioned container not sticking

Trying to figure out why the .tab-view element with position: sticky property: value doesn’t work on iOS / doesn’t stay sticky all the way through the scroll on iOS browsers or on Safari desktop. The element is inside a position: absolute container with overflow: scroll , but the sticky element just doesn’t sticky throughout the scroll on iOS. Works on desktop though.

@vincent I figure your knowledge of ‘position: sticky’ might help me figure out the reason for the bug on mobile devices and on Safari desktop.

You can’t set an overflow on a parent of a sticky element, that’s #1 rule and there is no workaround
