Solved. I think I messed something up with classes (I am not a coding guru, so doing a lot of class assignments based on intuition rather than really understanding it). I just repeated the steps from this tutorial Adding a fixed navigation bar - Webflow Tips - Forum | Webflow and assigned Section and Header classes to my nav bar, with Header class having fixed position.
