Hi there,

I see that the default GA implementation on webflow is using the old tracking code. I know I can paste de new code on the custom code field (and I am doing this).

I just wonder if there is any special reason for that or if is just something you didn’t upgraded yet?

In the meantime you can paste the embed code they provide in the Custom Code head section.

Any update on this? Can we use the universal tracking ID code google gives us in the “Analytics” tab in webflow? Or is the best practice to copy-paste the code into the header? Im not sure Google even uses classical anymore.

Yeah that’s the best approach at the moment before we investigate Classic vs Universal support
