Symbols: Font and Padding changes on different pages

I’ve created a symbol out of my nav bar, but for some reason when I add the symbol to a different page (a collection page named ‘blog posts’) the styling completely changes (different font and different padding for nav links).

Not sure why this is happening. Any help would be appreciated!

Here is my site Read-Only: LINK

Hello @bugsyb,

I don’t see your ‘blog posts’ page. I can’t replicate the issue since you only have a home page right now. Could you add a new page so I can try see what is going on with your navbar?

Hmm weird, Can you not see it if you do this:

I’m not sure how to share a specific page

Hello @bugsyb,

I’m sorry, that was my bad I didn’t think you meant a cms page. The problem with your navbar is that you styled your nav links while they had a current state on your home page.

So when you put your symbol on the blog page they don’t inherit the current state because those links don’t have a destination yet. So to fix the issue remove the destination on the link settings of your menu links from home to (choose a page…)
21%20PM
then style them how you want. Then check your nav bar symbol on the other page and it should be updated correctly. Let me know if you have any questions.
