Text Issue - I click on my text and nothing happens

Hello - Im having an issue when in designer I click on my text and nothing happens - I tried adding a new text block clicked on the text nothing - has anyone had this problem - any suggestions

I switched from Safari to Chrome and it started working - Safari 12.0.3
