Text overlays with Ix2

Hello -

I’ve had good success using Ix1 to create the text overlay interactions (move over / hover) but with Ix2 I’m having a bit of trouble…

Is it OK to combine Ix1 and Ix2 interactions on the same site?
or
Is there a new way to do this in Ix2?
