The bullet and number list option in the Typography section doesn't seem to be working

I can’t create bulleted lists. When I select the object to style my text, nothing happens. What am I doing wrong?

Those are bullet list style options. They do not create bullet lists, but change the style of an existing list. So you must first drag in a list item from the add panel, give it a class and then you can change the style of the list.
