Tournament Brackets

Hey Everyone,

I am in charge of creating a website that will have a tournament “Draws” page. I am wondering what would be the best way to get tournament brackets up on the site. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions on how to do this? I would need to be able to update the brackets frequently in order to keep people posted on match results. I realize this is a very specific need, but maybe someone out there will be able to help!

if you would like to see my progress on the design so far and give feedback, this is my site link!

As someone who has been involved in the development of a tournament bracket solution before, this seems like something far out of the scope of Webflow. You’d have to code it separately and embed it on your webflow site. Or just use Challonge.

I’d look into doing this with flex or CSS grid. Try to see the schedule as a raster, like a chess board. Calculate in advance how many blocks in the grid you need.

I know, I know, codepen while you might not be fluent in code. But clearly it’s doable with flexbox

Proof of concept:
