Is there a way to create a smooth transition to open the dropdown menu?
Perhaps using interactions? or is there another way?

It’s not needed. I am talking about the native dropdown function in webflow.

No I am talking about when you hover over the dropdown element in the native functions in the drag and drop menu. - Is it possible to apply a transition to the dropdown. Currently it just pop open and the only option we get is a close delay.
You misunderstand me, you should email support@webflow.com since it is a
specific how Webflow operates question. I always try support first for
stuff like that as they have a better idea what is possible with the
standard functions.
