In my project, share link below, I have a button at the bottom of the page. When you click the button, it triggers an interaction with a modal element. The modal element’s initial appearance is set to display as none/0% opacity and then opens to show a sign up form on the screen. It appears on top of everything else as I’ve added a high z-index to it. I have a few other interactions involved as well, but this is the general use.
Now that I have these interactions setup, I want to change the header text within the modal that pop’s up. My thought was to change the initial appearance on the modal to display again so I could edit it, but when I do that and I can see the modal with the header on the page, I click the header to edit the text, and it selects a different element and the modal goes away.

You can recreate this by clicking the link below, click the modal in the list of elements, titled modalContainer, and change the initial appearance for that element to display - 100% opacity and display flex.
Can someone please point me in the right direction here. Driving me nuts
