Hi @Leeanne67, thanks for the good question. SEO can be challenging, even for the experts.

I would suggest to do the following:

  1. Check the domain lilforchange.com DNS records, and update the A Records to remove on invalid IP that is pointing at some other server than Webflow. The way it is now, if someone were to type in the domain lilforchange.com, 33% of the time, they will reach the invalid server and nothing will show.

Remove the A Record with IP 184.168.221.16

  1. After changing the DNS, add the domain lilforchange.com to the hosting tab in site settings, as there is only the www.lilforchange.com domain added at the moment.

  2. After updating the hosting tab in site settings, republish the site: Webflow 101 | Webflow University

  3. Browse to Google Webmaster tools, and submit the sitemap that is automatically generated on the domain: http://www.lilforchange.com/sitemap.xml. Sometimes it can take a little time for Google to re-index the site. I did notice however, that the subdomain indexing (the webflow.io domain) is turned off, so that is good, good job.

Try those steps first. How long it will take for google to reindex is hard to say, but doing the steps above will only help.

Let me know in case of any questions. Also, any other SEO experts, feel free to chime in

Thank you cyberdave, much appreciated. Yes SEO is very daunting as I am challenged with the technical side of things. Before I make the changes you suggested, I should tell you I am using GoDaddy for DNS…will that mess anything up if I remove my A record? Sorry I wish I knew more about this stuff haha. Thanks
