Webflow & Internet Explorer

I’m working on building this site but the client mentioned that the navigation drop downs don’t work in Internet Explorer. I checked it out and it appears that a lot of the elements don’t display correctly in IE. I went back and have looked at some completed sites and see the same issue. I’m I doing something wrong or is this just a limitation of browser compatibility/web standard/webflow?
