I am really keen on boosting the performance of my webflow hosted website so I’ve been trying different optimizations over time. One of the things that I always wanted to do and definitely would do first thing when I’m gonna start my next project on webflow is to ditch the webfonts for local hosted ones.
Following the discussion here: Site Speed - font-display I’ve made changes to this aspect by removing the Poppins Webfont selected, downloaded the font from Google Fonts and upload it in the Fonts sections.
I was happy to see that I didn’t had to manually patch all the classes with the new font, but I was sad to see that the webfonts are still loaded if I inspect my page.
Any ideas about how to make this one work properly and stop loading webfonts and start using the local ones?
