What files are Webflow trying to download due to this Chrome Extension

What file(s) is Webflow trying to download ?

I’ve seen this when opening the Designer from the Dashboard and
entering the Dashboard by leaving the Designer.

I’m not seeing this issue on Chrome 58.0.3029.110 (64-bit)…

Could you click on that “Download blocked” notice and take a screenshot of what it says?

I’ve got 58.0.3029.110 (on a MacPro)

This is the message displayed:

When I click on the “Download blocked” message…
I get the “This site attempted to download multiple files automatically” message.

I get the same message(s) on a Windows 10 Pro desktop that sits next to my MacPro.

Hi @Revolution Thanks for posting this, this definitely sounds like odd behavior.

Can you please try the following:
(1) Try to reproduce the error while being logged into Webflow using Incognito mode with browser extensions turned off: Browse in private - Computer - Google Chrome Help

(2) If the problem persists, please take a screenshot of your Console and send it to me: Chrome DevTools - Chrome Developers

Hey @waldo … a quick glance (opened maybe 10 projects or sp)

  • didn’t produce the same result with incognito mode.

So I’m guessing it’s an extension.

I installed Pocket and Toby a couple weeks ago…

  • but it’s odd that I’m seeing that message now though.

Obviously, if it’s Pocket or Toby that’s creating the issue

  • It would means I’ve totally missed the messages for several weeks.

Which again… (for me) - is odd because I rarely miss anything.

I’ll keep right my left eye on it though… see it moves or goes anywhere…
perhaps poke it every once in a while for fun

Thanks for the quick response.

Thanks for confirming that it’s not a bug but a Chrome Extension causing the observed behavior @Revolution
