What happened to image settings in the Rich Text editor?

#1

I’m editing my site below, been using Webflow for many years but less the last 12 months. I’m used to changing the size and float/text wrap of images in Rich Text via this setting pane that came up if I double clicked… but it’s gone?

I’ve been Googling around for 20m but I can’t find anyone discussing this. I’ve tried deleting it and putting it back - what’s going on? Bug or UI update I missed in the last 6 months?

Hi @Alex_Foster

Thanks for posting. It looks like there may be a bug with having the rich text scrollable in a div with a fixed height like this.

I’ll look into this further with the team to get it resolved. For now, as a workaround, you can access these image settings by taking these steps (video):

  1. Removing the max height from the body holder element
  2. Removing the fixed position from the main section
  3. Double click the image — settings appear as expected
  4. Make the necessary adjustments to the image
  5. Add back the two styles to body holder & section

This definitely isn’t ideal but should help unblock you until the issue can be addressed.

Hope this helps :bowing_man:
