I bought a template that comes with a preloader that loads the template name before my webite. How do I fix this please and what happens if I remove it?

On your theme the Preloader is actually contained within a Symbol (the Green element in the Navigator)—so just double click that, set your Preloader element to display: flex, and then you can modify the image/loader gif as needed:
If you’d like to remove the loader all together, just remove the Preloader symbol from any page that contains it and then head to the Interactions panel and remove the Page trigger referencing the Preloader (shown in the screenshot below):
