I’m trying to post questions in the relevant forum categories, but often the New Topic button is disabled. I’m reading all the stickies, trying to be a good citizen. But there’s no error message or hint as to why it won’t let me post a new topic.
I was able to get it to work in Design Help > Layout, but not for Publishing Help > General. Can’t find a rhyme or reason.
What do I need to do to unlock posting in certain categories? And why is it a secret? XD
You can’t post in publishing help —> General because it’s only a parent category. When the “New Topic” button is disabled it’s because you need to select a subcategory first.
