Wrong links on CMS blog

Something went wrong with my blog. When I go into one of the posts I get 503.
What do you think? Did I do something wrong?

HI @LupoAsaf

Thanks for bringing this to our attention! This is definitely strange behavior. We are working on resolving this - hoping to have this fixed as soon as possible!

While we investigate, can you please try the following:
(1) Try to reproduce the error while being logged into Webflow using Incognito mode with browser extensions turned off: Browse in private - Computer - Google Chrome Help
(2) If the problem persists, please take a screenshot of your Console and send it to me: Chrome DevTools - Chrome Developers

Could you please let me know what browser version you’re using by sending me your information from this page?

There should be a small share link when you visit the page which you can send to me.

Thanks in advance!

Version 58.0.3029.110 (64-bit)

Same problem on Incognito.

Hi there,

Thanks for taking those steps. We are definitely working on it - hoping to have a resolution as soon as possible!

Please keep the feedback coming - we read and log every update so if you run into more strange behavior, please let me know.

I will post back here as soon as I have more information.

Sure.
I’d appreciate it if you can help me get someone to help me out with this
too:

Thank you very much, Asaf

Hi @LupoAsaf

After investigating this issue, it looks like you may have had some custom code on those pages before, then removed it.

Can you please try to republish your site to see if this resolves the issue?

If it doesn’t, can you please remove the custom code from your collection template page and republish?

Thanks in advance, and I’m standing by for your confirmation.

Hmmm… The custom codes were in the social icons and I removed them, still
doesn’t work.
Any idea by the way why my rich text is indifferent to font assigned to the
class?
Many thanks, Asaf.

onclick="window.open(‘https://twitter.com/intent/tweet?text=’ +
encodeURIComponent(document.title) + ':%20 ’ +
encodeURIComponent(document.URL)); return false;”>

<a class=“w-inline-block social-share-btn linkedin” href="

target=“_blank” title=“Share on LinkedIn” onclick="window.open(’

encodeURIComponent(document.URL) + ‘&title=’ +

Hi @LupoAsaf

I took another look at your blog posts and it looks like they are loading as expected now. Can you please test and confirm this: http://proof-7c19bb.webflow.io/post/one-postdocs-path-to-reproducibility

Also, I noticed some of your slugs no longer match the titles of your blog post

Anytime you update the title of a post, you will also need to update the slug to match.

Thanks in advance, and I’m standing by for your response

Thank you, Brandon.
It works! No 503s. And your video helped me fix the tags. BTW, I think I
restored to a previous version before the problem occurred - maybe that was
the cause?
You are right about the slugs. They are not in synch with the post’s name.
I don’t understand how can I change them. They are not in my control in a
CMS template page, are they? I can define only the slug folder name.

Hi @LupoAsaf

Happy to hear that it is all working as expected now.

You are not able to change the slug for the collection itself as it is a permalink.

You can, however, change the slug of the collection items to match the title.

Hope this helps!

So this slug issue is not relevant to new posts I create, right?
Is there any chance you know why the rich text (post body) ignores any font I assign to it?
Do you know why sharing on FB works, but sharing on Twitter using this custom code doesn’t?
<a class=“w-inline-block social-share-btn tw” href=“https://twitter.com/intent/tweet?” target=“_blank” title=“Tweet” onclick="window.open(‘https://twitter.com/intent/tweet?text=’ + encodeURIComponent(document.title) + ':%20 ’ + encodeURIComponent(document.URL)); return false;”>

Correct—any new collection items will automatically create a slug based on the title. If you change the title of that collection item, though, you will need to manually update the slug.

For the Rich text element issue, can you either email support@webflow.com, or create a new Forum post in the Bugs category?

For your custom code, can you please create a new post in the Code Help category?

Thanks in advance!

Hi Brandon,
Could you help me out with this issue? I’m lost.

Thank you, Asaf
