Button disappears

Hello!

I am very new to this and I try to learn as I go. Now I’ve spent too much time on a too simple thing without finding any solutions online. I want the “Play Showreel” button to reveal the black div block overlay with a showreel vimeo video, and then the button to reveal itself after the pop-up has been closed. But it disappears when clicked. Can’t seem to pause video when pop-up closes either.
