Can't delete column in Grid

I can’t delete the area 2 column from my grid even though nothing is in it!

the container is in the test page for mobile view that I am trying to fix.

I’m having this issue now. How did you resolve this?

Edit: Never mind. I had 2 columns and a few objects spanning both columns. I see that manually shrinking those objects back to one column allows the deleted column to finally vanish.

How to resolve for me.

Layout

Grid-div-component
–Grid-child
----grid-content
–grid-child
----grid-content
–grid-child
----grid-content

You have the overall grid structure as 2 columns and it is greyed out column so you can’t delete. Your goal is to have 1 column.

The grid child element there is settings called “grid child” with an option of position. Make sure every child is set to auto instead of manual. But also make sure that for every child it says ‘1 column span’, sometimes the grid child will say ‘2 column span’. The child prohibits that column to be deleted because it is set to ‘2 column span’.
