Changing the border color of a button in "pressed" state

Hello:

I know this sounds silly but please lend me an ear. I am unable to change the border colour of a button in its pressed state. In the normal state, I have assigned it a different border colour and it works fine. I tried assigning a border colour in the pressed state however for some reason it still defaults to the blue border on click rather, I see a blue outline to the white border I have assigned to it.

I have provided the share link for your reference. Please refer to the “Contact Us” page. The button I am referring to is the form “Submit” button.

Any clues what I might be doing wrong?
