I have had a couple of shoppers confused by the error messages they receive after failing check out. Why doesn’t Webflow display more error detail when Stripe returns an error code and description? The Webflow errors are too general. I had a shopper accidentally put a ‘<‘ in her email address. It passed Webflow validation but Stripe rejected it. She didn’t realise.
When is proper form validation and detailed error processing going to be established?
I can’t keep having shoppers asking me questions about why the checkout doesn’t work and me having to go into the Stripe logs every 10 mins to find out. Webflow should handle this through proper API integration and error display.
