Google Craweling weird Collection URLs

Hey Guys,

I’m having strange URLs showing up in my Search Console from collection Items, which ruins our Google Ranking.

A: The original URL of a post
B: URL showing up in Search Console as “copy of the original”

A: https://www.superior.berlin/blog-posts/die-power-deines-impacts-als-b2b-brand-befreien

B: https://www.superior.berlin/blog-posts/die-power-deines-impacts-als-b2b-brand-befreien?Item ID=6523f52481d2ec8116043a54&Post Titel=Die Power deines Impacts als B2B-Brand befreien&Like Num=1

Any ideas on how to get rid of these “copies”?

Are you using querystrings anywhere on the page, e.g. Finsweet CMS Filter with the filter setting enabled?

It looks like it could be a legitimate URL that was simply copied and then is linked to from another site, social media post, etc.

You should be able to find out the source of the link in GSC, worst case if it’s a spam site you can disavow it.

Thanks for your answer. That really would make sense. We never installed something like that. We also have no visits over urls like that in Analytics. So we don’t even know, where google got these domains from.
