Trouble with horizontal scroll effect

Hi all,

I’m having a little bit of a headache trying to figure out how to make my horizontal scroll effect work. Tried this tutorial ( Creating horizontal scrolling | Webflow Blog) and read all the topics I could find, but now I feel like im just too blind… The trigger animation should be set up right, the problem ist it’s starting scrolling way too early and is cutting half of the content at the end off.

It’s the black section “gallery” that should scroll…

Thanks in advance for any help! :woman_shrugging:

Hi @viktoriya, your trigger is on the wrong div, it should be on the class=“gallery”.

Hi Viktoriya.

  1. Set your scroll position in the interactions to around 1%. You can adjust this to have it start scrolling where you want.

  2. Could you re-phrase the question? :upside_down_face:

  3. Set the “The Content” and “a block” flex box to “Vertical”.

I see you got the horizontal scroll fixed?

Oh and you may want to check your viewport width (vw) on those divs… in “Mobile View”.

Hey Danny,

thank you! I’ll check your recommendations tomorrow out!:hibiscus:

Hey Danny,

my problem now is only that the section is too long on desktop and on mobile and I can’t seem to figure it out how to shorten it. All tutorials are showing the width 400VH and even when I change the width it doesn’t affect it. :exploding_head:

Anyone?
